Green cities can be centers of biodiversity and thrive, if they open up and connects to the surrounding landscapes along a supporting structure of blue and green corridors, that make the necessary exchange of species and energy possible. Locking the cities up behind tough lines of roads, access point and economical zoning systems is outdated
