The hand of sea-level rise
The only thing that seems unchanging is how the experts get climate change wrong, do we feel lucky?
Knowing we don’t know
Text and drawing by Frits Ahlefeldt
We really want to know – but sadly the whole concept, the whole climate change and sea-level science is still so new that sometimes it seems we just as well throw darts at maps
Hikers heading along the coast are warned to check the weather broadcast, go with an experienced guide and avoid venturing out without proper equipment and back-up strategies.
But concerning the way we face climate-change, it seems that on a global scale we act more bold than drunk, free-climbing teenagers singing in the air: “They say maybe we fall, but we say – maybe we fly… “
