Waiting for years, cueing up every week, hoping for the big win takes a lot of effort and money. So what keep us in the cue? – It could be hope… Hope that next time will be the one…

And that is why abandoning hope can in some situations be a better strategy. Throwing away the lottery ticket, and instead using resources, money and time to get somewhere real, instead of imagined…
