Logbook 16 December 2017 – The paths we walk
Storylines sketching up life as trails, created by walking
Text and illustration by Frits Ahlefeldt
In Nordic Mythology there are some female creatures, responsible for the many threads of human lives: (Norns ) They seems to be similar to the mythological ones in Greek and Roman mythology ( Moirai – Parcae ). The way we live, the way our lives unfold, the path we become and walk… in many cultures there is similar descriptions of this image of people walking certain paths in life. And from a hiking perspective I find this metaphor seeing life as a path or a knitted thread, and how what we know, how we live and what we learn “along the way, to be a path, thread and story-line” to be very interesting
Did another experiment to see if i could get closer to sketching up our different story and life-lifelines today
